Description

A handy 7-way resistance unit for low voltage circuit work and Ohm's Law investigations, offering a range of values: 1, 4.7, 10, 100, 1000, 10000 and 10000 Ohms. Each resistor is connected to a pair of red and black 4mm sockets. They can be connected in series or parallel to support investigation of the 'rules' for combining resistors.

The maximum voltage allowed depends on the resistor value, and its power rating. Students should appreciate the need for some simple calculations when selecting a resistor value. The Notes For Use are included to provide guidance.

  • All resistors are rated at 0.25W
  • Maximum Current: 250mA a.c. or d.c.
  • Dimensions: 160mm x 75mm x 31mm
  • Mass: 130g
